RENE VERBRUGGEN TECHNICAL CENTRE

The Rene Verbruggen Technical Centre was started in 1973 in order to offer a technical training to non-scholarised youngters that ensure a better professional future. The Rene Verbruggen Technical Centre forms part of the SEDET – Diocesan Service for Technical Education – under the responsibility of the BEC – Bureau de l’Education Catholique.

IMPORTANCE OF THE TECHNICAL CENTRE FOR THE YOUTH

Often, the youngters who are unable to follow the secondary curriculum are left on their own or find themselves in precarious jobs and situations where they are exploited. The Centre offers them the chance to learn technical professional skills thus allowing them to gather all the winning cards for a convenient job.
